Abstract : Investigate this study the problems facing the community participation in primary health care from the perspective of workers in health centers in the cities of Riyadh and Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, as well as the ways in which they propose to stimulate the participation and through the results of field research the overall issue of community participation, which was conducted during the years 1410/1412 AH . The study concluded to determine the most important problems facing the participation in primary health care: (1) illiteracy, (2) lack of health awareness among the citizens, (3) failure to respond to cooperate with the health center among many individuals, (4) reluctance to make information necessary to the health team, (5) dependence on the health workforce that do not speak Arabic, (6) reliance on the private health sector on the part of some individuals and families, (7) lack of women's participation in health activities. In the test methods appropriate to stimulate participation, agreed workers in health centers, both cities in nine of the appropriate methods to stimulate participation, agreed workers in health centers, both cities in nine of the methods chosen are: (1) literacy, particularly among women, (2) to intensify education programs health through the media, (3) to support cooperation and coordination with local governments, (4) home visits to encourage individuals and families to cooperate with the health team and to follow up pregnant women and vaccination of children, (5) the composition of the committees Friends of health at the local level, (6 ) increase the participation of members of the community in health activities of the center, (7) motivate individuals and families more involved than others in health activities, (8) selection of members of the primary health care among the academically qualified and able to communicate well with people in local communities, (9) decentralization of primary health care centers with the authorities give it sufficient to perform the work. These results may be useful in planning for the development of these methods in place to stimulate community participation in primary health care programs.
