Abstract |

Taper child with special needs or disabilities, if he had developmental delays or medical illness, and because of this case, it needs special care most of his peers. Special needs may be physical disability, developmental, behavioral Oatefah, may appear at any stage of the child's age. The needs of children with special needs to health care and other related services such as physical therapy, rehabilitation programs and special education programs, and such care superior to those needed by the other children, and this is due to the complexity of the case and the nature of chronic illness. The World Health Organization estimates that there are 15% - 20% of children have a physical or mental disability. Toshir study conducted by the United States Department of Education that 10% of children with special needs, mostly between the ages of 6 and 11 years. According to a study in Saudi Arabia on disability project conducted by the National Center for Disability Research, the disability rate was 3.73%, and disability among children was the most common organic and constitute 36.6%, and accounted for hearing disability 24.1% either impede sight was 29.9%. The study found that disability among males more commonly than females. |
