Abstract : This study is around oddness in poetry quotations, it's the issue in which there are more controversies and its findings has more disorders and defects. This study took its practical way for Syibawy quotations . the study began to investigate the quotation condition in Arabic grammar, and what attached that of importance, basics and certified rules of how quote with it and the terms and conditions of that and what related to time and place and fluency of the narrator and transferor and clarification of grammarians and their ways around this subject. This study also shows the proofs of oddness and its types in Arabic language, the causes of its appearance in grammatical classification, to what extent the grammatical scheme is influenced, the approaches of grammarians in declaring this ternl for what they met of quotations. This study doesn't forget a close subject with oddness , it's poetry necessity and showing of poets sayings which divided into approved of it and objected to it. The field of this study where it's applied is Sibaway's book . I search for oddness in some quotations , however Sibway doesn't referred to but they are in some followed grammarians. This study is an analytical and descriptive one . it includes three chapters preceded by a preface. The preface explains some definitions for terms near of oddness and the most important studies before the subject. The first chapter' main basis is poetry quotation in Arabic grammar and the importance and conditions of quotations in poetry in grammatical lesson and the extent of grammarians obligations to this and the approaches reviews for elicitation of rules from it. The second chapter includes oddness and its types. The raising of this linguistic term and its relations with some grammatical terms and what happens around it of approval and disapproval and the influence of this differentiation in determining it exactly. As it shows the necessity issue as it close to the oddness reviewing the grall1lllarians ideologies. The third chapter is related to applying study for odd quotations in the book which the poetry quotations of Sibway were its field, by indicating the odd quotations' places and showing the grammarians' opinions with their ideologies, and what followed that of variation and differentiations of judging on the texts and comparing them. The most important findings of this study is the non-standard in the judge by oddness of the poetry quotation, which leads to the difficulty to distinguish between most of grammatical terms so it produce an effect upon grammatical lessons.
